Today marks the 12th anniversary of the 9.11.01 twin towers attack. Over 3,000 lives were lost that day. Each year we celebrate this day as the day of remembrance to those who were in that building when the planes hit and to those who risked their lives to save those still in the buildings. The affects of 9.11 were not just of that day; people still died from the poisoning chemicals that were emitted from the buildings when they crashed as well as to the workers who worked on taking down the buildings at ground zero.
We will never forget and never surrender.
Bless those in need of healing with r’fu-a sh’lei-ma, The renewal of body, the renewal of spirit, and let us say Amen. May the source of strength who blessed the ones before us. Help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say Amen. (The Mi Sheberach- the jewish prayer for healing).
